Terms of Service

These terms explain the basic rules for using Liu and any paid plans we introduce.

Effective date: July 10, 2026

1. Agreement to these terms

By creating an account or using Liu, you agree to these Terms of Service and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use Liu.

2. Eligibility and accounts

You must be at least 13 years old to use Liu. You are responsible for providing accurate account information, keeping your credentials confidential, and notifying us promptly if you believe your account has been accessed without permission.

3. Using Liu responsibly

Use Liu only for lawful, personal learning purposes. Do not interfere with the service, attempt to access another person's account, scrape or copy the service at scale, circumvent security measures, or use Liu to violate another person's rights.

4. Content and feedback

Liu's branding, interface, original content, and software are protected by applicable intellectual-property laws. You may use the service for your personal learning, but may not reproduce, sell, or commercially exploit Liu's materials without permission. If you send us feedback, you allow us to use it to improve Liu without an obligation to compensate you.

5. Paid plans and Founder's Edition

Paid plans, prices, renewal terms, and included features will be shown clearly at checkout before you are charged. Monthly and annual plans renew automatically unless cancelled before the next billing date.

A Founder's Edition is a one-time purchase. It provides lifetime access to Pro as future Pro features launch, together with the founder recognition and perks described at checkout. It does not mean that unshipped features are available when you purchase, and it does not promise a fixed future feature list or delivery timeline.

“Lifetime” means for the operating life of the Liu service. We may update, improve, replace, or retire individual features, but we will not deliberately remove the core paid access granted to Founder's Edition purchasers while Liu continues to operate.

6. Refunds and cancellations

Our direct-purchase policy is explained on the Refunds & Cancellations page. Purchases made through an app store are subject to that store's billing and refund process.

7. Availability and changes

We are continually improving Liu. We may change, suspend, or discontinue parts of the service when reasonably necessary. We do not guarantee that Liu will always be available, uninterrupted, or error-free.

8. Disclaimers and limitation of liability

Liu is provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis to the fullest extent permitted by law. To the fullest extent permitted by law, Liu is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the service.

9. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms as Liu evolves. The effective date above will show when the latest version took effect. Continued use after an update means you accept the updated terms, unless applicable law requires a different process.
